Chris’ next solo release, Talamasca (BBM004) was an eclectic mixture of Latin, modern bop, and modal instrumental originals. It includes the winning track from the Jazziz Guitars On Fire contest and was released in 2000.
Following Talamasca, Chris formed and produced the smooth Jazz group Groovopolis. The five man group took an ensemble approach to writing and arranging. The next project, Hold It Right There (BBM006) is a collection of 12 standards, and Chris is singing on 10. Having spent most of his career as "a guitarist who sings, and not the other way around," Chris boldly steps into the limelight, surprising everyone with his elegant style, and soothing tone.
